After a landslide, Elias and Gwyn find themselves lost in the Rocky Mountains. Things quickly turn for the worse when they run out of food. Fortunately, Elias knows where to get food.

”Elias, why are you putting that knife to your leg?”

Created on January 6th, 2025, Last Resort is my most recent original story. I felt that my old story was too much for me (lots of characters, lack of plot, etc.) so I decided to start a new one. Have fun clicking through the tabs and learning more about the main characters and their hiking trip gone wrong.

Somewhat inspired by the Wrong Turn movie series (my first ever horror movies)

Bass Pro Shop manager and avid outdoors man. Has climbed all of the mountain ranges in the US. Has a girlfriend getting her masters in college.

When he meets Elias, he becomes an older brother figure to him and shows him the ropes of hiking and camping. His morality is questioned once the two get lost in the woods and Elias offers himself up for food.

Despite his morals, Gwyn eventually gives in to his hunger. After tasting Elias’s flesh, he becomes addicted. Even after the disaster, he sticks around Elias. Even if he dislikes Elias for what he did, Gwyn would do anything for a chance to taste flesh again.

Has a genetic mutation that allows him to regrow parts of his body. Its a dominant gene carried through his family. Any cut or injury is healed in hours with no scar. Despite this, his can still get sick and old. Body parts such as the brain, liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs can’t be removed. Other internal organs can be removed, but they take longer to regenerate.

Beginning

Elias and Gwyn meet at a Cabela’s.

After talking for a bit, they find themselves really enjoying the other’s presence.

Elias mentions that he wants to start camping/hiking.

Gwyn tells Elias that he is happy to teach him.

After a time skip, Gwyn and Elias go to the PNW and start hiking

Meant to be a 3 day long trip

Middle

A landslide soon occurs on the second day, separating the two in the ensuing chaos.

Gwyn and Elias find each other after 3 days.

They soon realize that during their separation, they had run out of food.

Elias then reveals his secret: He is a cannibal, he can regenerate his body. He offers part of his leg to Gwyn.

Gwyn is shocked, and refuses to eat Elias out of disgust.

The two walk though the forest to escape.

During this, Elias tries to explain how its okay and that Gwyn shouldn’t starve.

After fainting due to exhaustion and malnutrition, Gwyn gives in and eats.

He is amazed at how good it tastes

Gwyn and Elias are found and rescued.

Gwyn, now addicted to flesh, stays friends with Elias not because he likes him, but just for the meat.

Venson Dining has been a long standing restaurant in Southern USA. Even if you've never eaten there, which is reasonable considering the high prices, you’d know what they offer: quality meat. There are even some rumors about a secret order made with the “best meat in the world”, only offered to the top regular customers…
